Far From Timid was founded in 2008 by brand strategiest, designer, and entrepreneur Alona Elkayam.
Far From Timid delivers manufacturers and retailers of home and fashion beautiful and designs for all types of products with all types of surfaces from wood to digital. We deliver patterns that work, that sell and that have never been seen before. Most products are sold for their either their aesthetic or functional value and we have isolated the former, the aesthetic part of the product design process, surface design, and created a company to support a digital and searchable library of thousands of exclusive designs. We are here to make the world more colorful and give all people access to whimsy, beauty and art.
We also work with architects, developers, interior designers and producers of television, theatre and film in providing compelling design backgrounds and accessories to their environments.
