Alona Fromberg-Elkayam, Founder
Alona Fromberg-Elkayam is an award-winning creative director, brand builder, designer, and speaker. As former founder of Marriott’s Content Studio, Editor-In-Chief for IBM's Original Brand Studio, and founder of a digital brand agency, 321 Worldwide, that was sold in 2013, Alona has launched and relaunched some of the most well-known brands of this decade from BotoxCosmetic® to IBM Services and the Pod Hotel.
Alona cut her teeth in the agency world at venerable studios like Razorfish, Saatchi, and Grey. In between, she created the Far From Timid lifestyle brand. Alona speaks and writes about the metaverse for brands, brand trust, community building, and 360 branding in the age of transformation. She has written for Huffington Post, MediaPost and has spoken at SXSW, NFTNYC, NFTLA, IHAF, Internet Week and is a former mentor for startups at General Assembly and 1776. She is working on a children’s book for professional adults on how to build brands entitled, Bringing Up Brand.
She left IBM in March 2019 to launch Far From Timid and bring a more holistic, sustainable, and modular way to marry brand and performance marketing.
Alona
Alli Joseph, Executive Producer
Alli Joseph is a seasoned multimedia content producer, documentary filmmaker, and family historian. As a writer, producer, educator, and on-camera talent, Alli has many years of creative agency experience in and out of house at shops including Ogilvy, Grey, Margeotes, R/GA, inc, and others. She is a contributing senior editor and senior producer for Salon.com, and has worked as writer, producer or talent for networks like NBC, CBS News, Vh1, Time Inc., and Food Network. A McCormick Tribune Foundation Fellow, Poynter Institute Fellow and consulting faculty member of the Maynard Institute for Journalism Education, Alli also teaches primary school to post-graduate entrepreneurial journalism. She is Chair of the Council of Advisors for the Association on American Indian Affairs, one of the oldest Native American advocacy organizations in the US, and produced the PBS documentary CONSCIENCE POINT (Independent Lens). She is a graduate of Vassar College, and holds advanced certificates in executive media management from Northwestern University's Medill and Kellogg schools. A Native New Yorker, Alli is a member of the Shinnecock Indian Nation. Her favorite people to interview are nonagenarians, whose lives were so different from our own.
Marc Garbarini, Executive Creative Director
A graduate of Syracuse University’s Advertising Design program, and a current student at Georgetown University pursuing a Masters of Integrated Marketing Communication, Marc has spent the last 20+ years in the NYC ad agency scene – beginning as an Art Director in the direct marketing space. A 10-year veteran of Digitas, in 2013 he led a cross network creative team for Publicis’ agency-of-record pitch for JP Morgan Chase, won, and helped launch the ROAR agency. Marc teaches advertising at the Miami Ad School.
