We commissioned four beautiful illustrations by talented artist Matthew Woodson. Each of the illustrations tells a Far From Timid story. You tell us what it is. Look closely at all the clues. There is no correct story, but we are looking for amazing storytellers and writers to share their imagination with us.

Please read about who we are as a company and what we stand for in order that you understand our boundaries. For example, we won't select a highly pornographic or terribly bloody horror story. Sex and blood is ok, but we are talking Fargo and Secretary and NOT Nightmare on Elm Street or Debbie Does Dallas.

• By submitting to  "Short Story This" contest you give Far From Timid permission to post stories on Social Media and the Far From Timid website. 

• Stories must be submitted by December 20.

• Stories cannot be submitted anonymously
